Time for this week’s Friday Faves! I started this series as a way to share some of my favorite things from the past week. They can be products, websites, experiences, TV shows, or just whatever tickled my fancy this week. Here were my faves of the week!
1.) Madagascar. Yep, the movie originally released in 2005. I can’t, exactly, say that it’s my favorite movie, but my son definitely loves it and asks to watch it many, many times a day. I love that this is one of our things to do together and it just makes me happy watching his face light up when his favorite parts come on. Oh, and him dancing around the house singing “I like to move it, move it!” is hilarious!
2.) Curél Intensive Healing Lotion. I totally fell in love with this lotion this week. It’s been really cold and dry in the Chicago area lately and my skin tends to dry out and get cracked and itchy. This seriously thick lotion totally takes care of the dry skin, without being overly greasy. It lasts a long time too – I typically only have to apply it in the morning, and again in the late afternoon/early evening. Great stuff!
3.) The Real Housewives. Of anywhere, really. I (reluctantly) became addicted to this show a few years ago when a friend of mine came over and insisted we watched it. I had heard of the show, but was never really interested in seeing it – at that time, I had never, ever even watched the Bravo network before. After just one episode, I was hooked. That was the Real Housewives of Orange County, Season 2. Since then, slowly but surely, I have become a fan of ALL the housewives. My favorite housewives from all the shows: OC – Gretchen, Atlanta – Phaedra, New York – Heather, New Jersey – Jacqueline, Beverly Hills – Lisa, and Miami – Adriana. Now I’m just waiting for TLC to debut the Real Housewives of the Trailer Park and we’ll be all set. Now that’s must see TV, ya’ll!
