Once again, it’s time to tell you guys a little but more about ME, Amanda, the blogger behind Thoughts from Her. Here are a few things you might not know.
I really want to get out of my Sprint contract. I think at this point I’ve been through most cell phone carriers (yeah, I get around). Started off with PrimeCo. and they turned into Verizon. Left Verizon when I wanted a Blackberry because their data package at the time was way too expensive. From there tried T-Mobile – they were good, but then I wanted an iPhone so we moved to AT&T. I would still be with AT&T but ~long story short~ my husband lost his phone so temporarily his data package was downgraded until he purchased another smart phone. When he did, AT&T wouldn’t grandfather his unlimited data package and wanted to charge us for the extra data usage over 2 gig. We got charged every month. Switched to Sprint for their unlimited package. That would sound totally perfect – except for the fact that we never have service to use data anyway! Sprint is the absolute worst. Dropped calls and many, many areas in the Chicago area where we don’t even have a 3G signal. HATE THEM…but still have over a year on our contract. Phew, that was a long one!
I always have a to-do list…on paper. Yeah, I’m a little old school. But there’s just something about crossing things off my list in red ink (yes, the pen must be red!). I get so much more accomplished when it’s written down.
I have almost NO techy-mojo. Computers are still so foreign to me. Believe it or not, I once took a Microsoft A+ certification course because I thought I might, one day, want to get into the IT field. So I know what a motherboard is, and was once taught what all the skinny cords and buttons were for – can you tell how much of the information was retained? Yeah, approximately zero. Perhaps only the word motherboard.
