I have never owned a George Foreman Grill before.
Yes, you read that right. I know almost everyone on the planet probably has one, and I’ve heard of it, but never purchased one. So let me just say – WOW! This thing is AWESOME!

I received a George Foreman GRP4B Next Grilleration™ Removable Plate Grill to test out and learned that the George Foreman Grill removes up to 42% of FAT from quarter-pound burgers made with 80/20 ground chuck beef, translating to a reduction of approximately 89 calories per burger! Amazing right?!?! After having a baby just 8 months ago and STILL struggling to shed some of my “baby weight”, I’m so glad I learned about the George Foreman Grill!
Just look at the FAT the George Foreman Grill removed from my turkey burgers! TURKEY BURGERS! If this is how much fat is in turkey burgers, I probably don’t even want to know how much is in my ground beef burgers.
I also decided to post a video review to my brand new YouTube channel – check it out here (for some reason this template doesn’t allow embedded videos, but just click the link to the video!):

You should also know that I’ve never made burgers from scratch before. Yes, me – wife and mother of two. I’ve always taken the easy route and just bought frozen patties. I didn’t have a recipe for these either. I just knew that you should add egg to the mixture to hold it all together. And they really held up great! Here’s my recipe – from the top of my head. Feel free to give them a try!
- 2 lbs. ground turkey
- 2 eggs
- 1 green pepper
- 1 red pepper
- 1 medium onion Adobo (to taste)
- Garlic powder (to taste)
- Black pepper (to taste)
I put the red and green pepper, along with the onion, in the food processor. Added that with the eggs and other dry ingredients to the ground turkey. Divided the meat into my patties and put it on the grill. (Makes 10 burgers)
